Wonthaggi 24 hour HPV Grand Prix

The weekend of March 22 and 23 saw series two of the Victorian HPV Championships being run at Wonthaggi. This sport brings together primary school aged kids through to full grown adults as riders along with a raft of support personnel.

I photographed this event for the MtEliza Secondary College Racing Team, MERT, who had three vehicles entered in the race.

I love photographing events like this, the opportunities for great images are amazing, in addition to the action shots there is so much emotion around the pit area. With people psyching themselves up and also recovering from their ride it can get intense.
